Many people have been contacting the clinic over the past few weeks with the start of hay fever season.

Between 15 percent and 20 percent of people in the UK have hay fever and a short treatment of acupuncture has brought relief for many at the clinic.

Philip is also advising some dietary changes such as avoiding wheat and dairy during the hay fever season which can reduce symptoms dramatically.

Adding the following foods to your daily diet may also lessen your symptoms:

  • Nettle

In the form of tea and soup it can help with itchy eyes and sneezing.

  • Pineapple

  • Rose Hip Tea

  • Onions, garlic and apples
